Hello dear friends and thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me for this new episode of Walk with Johan higher level . So once again, I’m on a weekend at the beach. I record my episodes in groups. So in last week’s episode, I told you: “I’m at the beach, there might be a little noise”, but in principle, it’s OK. You might hear the sound of the waves. Well, there’s a helicopter going by, but I think it’s not too bad.
And today, I would like to talk to you about… so it’s a personal development episode… I would like to talk to you about discipline. And I invite you perhaps, first of all, if you follow the content of Français Authentique regularly, to rate this episode of the podcast or this Français Authentique podcast by leaving 5 stars and sharing it with your friends. It always helps us, so thank you for that.
So today we’re going to talk about discipline and
a higher level of discipline. You’ll see what I mean by that. Discipline is about pushing yourself, forcing yourself a little bit to do good things.
For example, I don’t know, if I have to record podcasts today and I’m at the beach, well I need discipline, because my brain or part of my brain, the emotions, if I philippines whatsapp number data only listened to my brain, well I would lie on the sand with a book. That’s definitely one thing. You know, a coffee in one hand, a book in the other, under the sun, that would be perfect. That’s what I would like to do.
And by the way, it’s a… in parentheses… a very good way to be disciplined is to tell others: “I’m going to do this”. For example, if you tell someone: “I go to the mark mader president and ceo gym three times a week”, well that pushes you to go even when you don’t feel like it, because you don’t want to disappoint people. So somewhere, it’s the fact of talking about it to others and trying to appear, to give off an image,
well that helps to be more disciplined
So often, we want to look good and we do the right thing when others are watching, that is to say we will choose the salad because we told others: “Listen, I am on a diet or I am at least paying attention to what I am going to eat”. Sorry, a second helicopter. I don’t know what’s a complete list of unit phone numbers happening, but the helicopters are flying overhead. So there you go, one thing we tend to do sometimes is focus and do a good thing, a good action when others are watching.
And as a father… you see, there is an example that comes to mind, because ultimately, if you want to raise your children well, the only way is to set an example. I have often spoken about it in this podcast, If you tell a child: “You must always wear your helmet when you ride a bike” and you go out on your bike without a helmet, the child will record: “My dad rides a bike without a helmet, so it’s OK to ride a bike without a helmet”. So we influence, we educate our children through our actions and not just through our words, because they watch us much more than they listen to us.
